Install SignCheck on Your Phone or Desktop

SignCheck is a Progressive Web App, which is a fancy way of saying it works inside your browser but can also be installed like a normal app. Adding it to your home screen gives you:

One-tap launch, with no opening a browser and no typing the URL.
Full-screen view with no browser address bar in the way.
Offline access: captures save locally and sync when you're back on signal.

It's a one-minute job, doesn't use App Store or Play Store, and doesn't take up much space.

iPhone (Safari)

Open SignCheck in Safari.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen: the square with an upward arrow.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top right. The SignCheck icon now sits with your other apps.

Open it from the home screen icon. It'll launch full-screen with no Safari chrome.

iPhone (Chrome)

Open SignCheck in Chrome.
Tap the Share icon to the right of the address bar (or open the menu and choose Share).
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Note: on iPhone there is no “Install app” menu item. That only exists in Chrome on Android. On iPhone it's always the Share sheet. Needs iOS 16.4 or later; on older iPhones, use Safari instead.

Android (Chrome or Edge)

Open SignCheck in Chrome or Edge.
Tap the menu (⋮) in the top right.
Tap Install app (Chrome) or Add to Home screen (Edge / older Chrome).
Confirm the install. The icon appears on your home screen.

Some Android browsers (Samsung Internet, Firefox) also show an install icon directly in the address bar: same effect, fewer taps.

Desktop (Chrome or Edge)

Open SignCheck in Chrome or Edge on your laptop or desktop.
Look for the install icon in the address bar. It looks like a small monitor with a downward arrow, on the right-hand side near the bookmarks star.
Click it and confirm. SignCheck opens in its own window with no browser chrome, and gets added to your applications list.

If you can't see the install icon, open the menu (⋮) and look for Install SignCheck there.

Removing It Later

On a phone, long-press the icon and choose Remove or Delete. On a desktop, open SignCheck's window menu (⋮) and choose Uninstall SignCheck. Removing the install does not delete your account or any of your jobs. Sign back in via the website any time.
